Dr. Smolyar was my dentist when I lived in the Boston area and he is by far, the most skilled dentist I’ve ever had. He is a perfectionist and it truly shows in his cosmetic work. I’ve had several crowns done by previous dentists and I’ve had to have them re-done by Dr. Smolyar. The difference is remarkable. He is always up to date on the most recent technology and procedures. When I need my next crown or even a filling, I will buy airfare to see him. There is no one I trust more.

He’s not just a dentist he’s a lot more, he’s a very caring and loving person and a very good listener. Every time I see him at the Office he always happy and smile and he always positive. He’s an amazing dentist, we have a great history together, I started seeing him with a regular checkup and not very good Teeth but now my teeth are super white and incredible straight and I’m can’t stop smiling. After 20 years of my bad history not taking care of my teeth very well and now over 20 years later I’m very happy with my teeth and feel younger with my beautiful smile.

Heroes. Both Dr. Alex Smolyar and endodontist Dr. Rondit Smolyar, along with Jackie, have successfully COMPLETELY eliminated 25 years of extreme dental fear and anxiety for me (and when I say “anxiety”- I mean I had to be put under general anesthesia for a simple filling when I was 16, and have refused any dental work other than cleanings ever since). All three of them are exemplary medical professionals and they are truly gifted. I will never be able to thank them enough for what they did for me.
I just had a root canal with a custom double-crown/bridge: First, this is a lengthy procedure, but it felt like *maybe* 15 minutes because it was all so uneventful and easy. Second- I felt absolutely nothing, and it was easier than getting a flu shot.
I wish I could find every patient like me and personally deliver them over to the Smolyar’s. 25 years of that kind of fear is absolute torture, and these people are amazing.

Dr. Smolyar is one of the best dentists out there. He has years of expertise and cares about his patients with all of his heart. I have seen him transform peoples lives by giving them a beautiful confident smile.
A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Smolyar, when I thought I’d cracked a tooth, and needed a dentist.
However, Dr. Smolyar’s calendar was full, and I needed to get in quickly, so I was assigned to another dentist who was also great. Later, after that dentist had moved (and after a less-than-happy few appointments with a second dentist) I was able to change over to Dr. Smolyar.
Dr. Smolyar is very calm and soothing, explains things well without a lot of hype or being pushy, and has a great sense of humor and ‘chairside’ manner. Having him work on my teeth was a 100% improvement over the dentist I’d switched over from. While my experience with the second dentist was enough to push me to another dentist, my experience with Dr. Smolyar was good enough to keep me from leaving the practice altogether.
