New Patients
Complete Your Forms Before Your Appointment
We welcome new patients from Newton, Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Needham, Wellesley, West Newton, Waltham, Weston, Natick, and throughout the greater Boston area. Your first appointment allows our team to learn more about your oral health, treatment goals, and overall dental history. We take the time to answer questions, discuss concerns, and create a personalized plan for your care.
To help streamline your visit, we encourage patients to complete any necessary forms before their appointment.

Insurance Information
Helping You Maximize Your Benefits
We understand that dental insurance is an important resource for many patients. As a courtesy, Smolyar Dental submits insurance claims electronically and works with a wide range of insurance providers to help make the process as simple as possible.
Because every insurance plan is different, we encourage patients to become familiar with their individual coverage, including deductibles, waiting periods, annual maximums, and any limitations or exclusions. Your insurance coverage is an agreement between you and your insurance provider, and patients are responsible for any co-pays or treatment costs not covered by their plan.
Most importantly, we believe treatment decisions should be based on your individual dental health and needs—not solely on what insurance covers. Our team will clearly review recommended treatment and associated costs with you so you can make informed decisions about your care.
Financing & Payment Options

We believe financial concerns should never stand in the way of a healthy smile. Smolyar Dental offers flexible payment solutions designed to make treatment more accessible, whether you’re considering cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, or another treatment plan.
Any co-pays, deductibles, or other patient-responsible balances are due at the time of service unless prior payment arrangements have been made. For patients without dental insurance, payment is generally due at the time treatment is provided.

Appointment & Cancellation Policy
Respecting Your Time & Ours
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and we make every effort to see our patients as promptly as possible. Occasionally, dental emergencies may require immediate attention and create an unavoidable scheduling delay. We appreciate your patience and understanding when these situations arise.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly request at least 48 business hours’ notice. This gives us an opportunity to offer the reserved time to another patient who may be waiting for care.

Dental emergencies rarely happen at convenient times. If you are experiencing dental pain, swelling, infection, trauma, or another urgent concern during office hours, our team is committed to seeing you as quickly as possible. If you require emergency dental care after hours, please contact us right away.
